Desert Botanical Gardens – The Desert Botanical Gardens features one of the largest and most diverse collections of desert plants. Take time to stroll along the pathways and see the lush and beautiful plants that inhabit the Sonora Desert. A visit to the Desert Botanical Gardens in the spring is a real treat when all of the plants are blooming. 

Chase Field – This beautiful ballpark, right in the middle of downtown Phoenix, is home to the 2001 World Series Champions, the Arizona Diamondbacks. 

U.S. Airways Center – Another big sporting venue in downtown Phoenix is U.S. Airways Center where the Phoenix Suns battle NBA foes. It also hosts many special events and concerts. 

Arizona State Capitol – With its copper dome, the Arizona State Capitol makes a dramatic statement to the downtown Phoenix skyline. Beautifully landscaped grounds surround the capitol building. 

Paradise Valley – Paradise Valley, Arizona is where many sports stars and celebrities make their homes. As part of the tour, we will drive you by the multimillion dollar mansions that have a Southwestern feel to them. 

Old Town Scottsdale – No trip to Phoenix is complete without a stop in Old Town Scottsdale. Galleries and specialty shops line the streets. Many artists have studios here where you can see the beautiful painting, pottery, and jewelry that they make. Many of the galleries feature Southwestern and Native American art.

Your first day of convention activities begins Thursday, November 16.  Tours begin on Friday, November 17.   We will meet in the hotel lobby at 8:30 A.M. for a 9:00 A.M. departure each day.  Return is estimated to be 2:00 P.M. each day.

Heard Museum – The Heard Museum is a must visit when in Phoenix. They feature one of best collections of Native American artifacts, crafts, and displays of Native American history. There are also many showings of current art by regional Native Americans. 

​Arizona State Capitol – The State Capitol of Arizona is unique with its copper dome. The capitol grounds are expansive with beautiful desert landscaping. 

Chase Field – This beautiful ballpark sits right in downtown Phoenix and is home to the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team, winners of the 2001 World Series. Its retractable roof provides a venue for sporting events, shows, and concerts year round. 

U.S. Airways Center – Just down the street from the ballpark is the U.S. Airways Center that is home to the NBA Phoenix Suns. Many events and concerts are held here as well.  

Paradise Valley – One drive through Paradise Valley and you will be envious. Many sports stars and celebrities make Paradise Valley their home. You'll get a tour past these incredible homes that use a Southwest theme wrapped in luxury. 

Old Town Scottsdale – Old Town Scottsdale is a shopper's Mecca. There is a wide variety of shops, galleries, and restaurants for every taste. Southwest art lovers will find a number of galleries. Fans of Native American art will find some amazing galleries featuring pottery, jewelry, and many other authentic crafts.​
